Today is the last day of my 30s.
Life is rarely all good or all bad, but I am so thankful that my life and work experience of the last decade turned out largely in my favor. I owe a huge part of it to my family, moving to this country and working for my current employer.
I didn’t get everything I wanted, but as one of my favourite authors said, if you don’t get everything you want, think of the things you don’t get that you don’t want.
So I am grateful for all I have and don’t have, and heading into my 40s by letting go of what if and appreciating what is.
